Jacqueline Scott - Owner/Instructor

Jacqueline has worked as a professional makeup artist since 1990. Her clean, fresh style reflects the Northern California Wine Country setting where Jacqueline is established as the preeminent artist for bridal makeup. During her career, Jacqueline represented Lancome Paris Cosmetics for 5 years as a regional makeup artist for Northern California. Jacqueline has worked on numerous fashion shows, photo shoots, television and music video productions and her work is regularly published in magazines ad campaigns.

In addition, Jacqueline is a Licensed esthetician and former day spa owner. Jacqueline has taught makeup artistry privately, for modeling schools, beauty colleges and for salon owners. She graduated from The Academy of Cosmetic Arts and Award Studio. She has received certifications from renowned makeup artists Marvin Westmore, Pamela Taylor and Bob Scribner. She is certified by 3 different color analysis training programs and has product training with numerous product lines including Sothys, Aveda, Lancome, Color Me A Season, Jane Iredale, and Prescription Plus, Cosmedix and MAC.

Lauren Spaulding - Instructor

Lauren is an up-do instructor for the Academy. Her classes are well planned with easy to follow instruction. She has been teaching for the academy since 2004. Her work has bee featured in celebrity weddings and on wedding television shows. Lauren has been a core member of the JS Makeup Artistry Team since 1999. She is both a talented makeup artist as well as an accomplished hair designer. Lauren attended the Santa Rosa Junior College studying art, followed by The Academy of Art in San Francisco. She has studied fashion photography and bridal makeup at the Makeup Art Academy by JS multiple times and keeps abreast on the most up to date looks as well as perfecting the classics.

Jessie Scarpelli - Instructor

Jessica Scarpelli is an accomplished makeup artist and hairstylist, who has worked in the industry for 9 years and with JS Makeup Artistry for the past 6 years. She is creative, imaginative and inventive and has a professional, friendly and caring demeanor. She has a supreme ability to visualize and advise the appropriate look for each individual. Jessie has worked with some of the top salons in Northern California. She has completed studies in art, portraiture and color theory and is a graduate of The Makeup Art Academy by JS. Jessie recently won"1st Place" stylist at a Holiday Fashion Show, was the lead hairstylist for San Francisco State Runway Show and worked with a photographer who published her work in Martha Stewart's Wedding Magazine. She modestly admits to 100% satisfaction for all bridal clients in over 100 weddings. Jessie Helps teach the Makeup Courses at the Academy and is a Bridal Hair Course Instructor. Her well planned classes are informative and easy to follow.
